BARCELONA CIUTADELLA PARK
Located in the heart of Barcelona Ciutadella district, this 17 hectare park gets its name from the fortress of the Ciutadella which was after the War of Spanish Succession then bombarded in 1843 and demolished in 1868 during the Revolution. Twenty years later, the ciutadella park welcomed the Universal Exhibition of 1888, occasion on which the triumphal arch, which forms one of the limits of the park, was built to mark the entry.
