Barcelona Montjuic hill

The 184-metre-high Montjuic Hill, located southwest of Barcelona, offers breathtaking panoramic views of the port and the old town (Ciutat Vella).
Montjuic is above all an immense green space where parks, cable car, castle, monuments and the 1992 Olympic Games' vesticles share the highest point of Barcelona.

Montjuic Olympic Park

The facilities of the Montjuic complex were built or refurbished for the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games. Montjuic represented a quarter of Barcelona's facilities for the occasion: the Olympic Stadium, the Sant Jordi Palace, the swimming pools, and the National Institute of Physical Education of Catalonia.

Palau Nacional

The National Palace of Barcelona is one of the treasures of the city that was built on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition of 1929.

Go to the line 3, either to Paral-lel using the funicular or to Espanya on the Plaça Espanya side, then follow the line to the Lesseps stop.

To get to the Sagrada Familia from Barcelona's Montjuic hill, take the line 3 from the Paral-lel or Espanya stations in the direction of "Trinitat Nova" and change with the line 5 at Diagonal to the Sagrada Familia stop.
