From Sants station to Barcelona airport by train
To travel from Sants station to Barcelona airport, you will need to follow the R2 Nord line to the terminal, which will take you to the T2 terminal.
If you have to go to the T1 terminal, you can choose between the metro located at the foot of the train station ; if you prefer, you can continue your journey on the shuttle buses that run from one terminal to the other.

From Barcelona's Sants station, the R2 Sud, R13 or R14 train lines will take you to Sitges.
From Sants to Montjuic
From Sants train station to the heights of Montjuic
Once you're in Barcelona-Sants train station, there are no train connections to get you close to Montjuic hill. Instead, by taking the Barcelona L3 metro line (green), you have the choice between several options for getting to the heights of the city.
- Following the line in the direction of Trinitat Nova to the Espanya stop, you will exit at the foot of the hill, where you will have access to many of Barcelona's sights and monuments, such as the Olympic Stadium, the Poble Espanyol, the National Art Museum of Catalonia, the Botanical Gardens, the CaixaForum cultural centre and the Palau Sant Jordi concert hall.
- By choosing to get off at the Paral-lel metro station, you'll have access to the Montjuic funicular, which takes you halfway up the hill to the foot of the Joan-Miró Foundation, as well as the cable car that continues to the top of Barcelona, which is shared by the Montjuic castle and exceptional panoramic views of the Catalan capital.
